The two cakes I made for my mother’s birthday :)
Originally, this was a special cake for a special someone. Now it’s just a cake. And a someone.
Anyhow, I wanted to show you the results of my latest baking adventure.
There was a point during his Bachelor’s thesis, where he got really exhausted, almost depressed, hadn’t got any energy left. So I promised him I’d bake him an actual minion cake (not 3D, but hey, I ain’t rich) if he managed to struggle through and finish his thesis.
He did and now here I am, preparing for what seems to be weeks now.
I even made little minion decorations out of Kinder Eggs (because I hadn’t watched the movie when we met and for the first few weeks I proceeded to call minions “Ü-Eier” because, well duh.
Anyhow, I kind of feel he isn’t appreciating all the effort I’m going through. I just asked him what type of cake he’d prefer and he said “no matter what so long as it tastes good”. Bitch please, all my cakes taste like heaven. I never made a cake that didn’t taste good. I am not making such a fuss to bake you a thing that looks like a fucking minion and then say “oh I just care for the taste”. No. Just no.
I know he actually just didn’t want me to freak out (because I’ll cry if anything goes wrong with this cake) but that’s not the way to do it.
Grumpy Kinky is grumpy.
